| ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ Poster Gets Ready For Greatest Hits Tour
The music from Guardians Of The Galaxy was one of the best things about the film. The infusion of 1970s and 1980s music was a refreshing break from the mundane Marvel scores. When director James Gunn announced the title of the sequel would be Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, it just supported the fact that there would be a strong music vibe again. We got a hint of that when we heard “Come A Little Bit Closer” by Jay and the Americans and “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac during the film’s panel at the San Diego Comic-Con this summer. Now with Doctor Strange just mere weeks away from release, Marvel and Disney can kick off their marketing campaign for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 by releasing a poster, which looks like something straight off of a cover of an 80s or 90s punk rock band album cover. Check it out here below.

| Don’t Expect To See Infinity Stones In ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ |
 |

We are still three years away from the final film of Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Thanos is not getting any closer to getting the final two Infinity Gems he needs to fully power his Infinity Gauntlet. Though we saw a very tiny non-speaking glimpse of him in The Avengers, and more of him in Guardians of the Galaxy, where we saw him use Ronan as a pawn to obtain the Power Stone and tasked Nebula with making sure that the Kree warlord would follow through. Of course, if you watched the movie, then you know things didn’t go according to plan, which forced him to collect the stones on his own – as we all saw in the mid-credits scene for Avengers: Age of Ultron. Though it would make some sense for the Mad Titan to make yet another appearance chasing one of the final two remaining Infinity Stones in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, director James Gunn is coming out to say that isn’t the case at all for the sequel. In fact, he is saying that there are no Infinity Stones in the film at all. More on the story below.

| ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’: Why Star-Lord’s Dad’s Identity Isn’t A Spoiler |
 |

During last Saturday’s portion at the San Diego Comic-Con, all eyes were on Hall H as fans eagerly awaited to see superhero trailers and clips. Marvel certainly delivered, as they always do on the years they attend. One of the biggest surprises came from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which just completed principal photography a few weeks ago. Director James Gunn and the cast were all present to show some footage and a teaser trailer. The director recently confirmed that none of the SDCC exclusive footage would appear online anytime soon. During the SDCC, the identity of Star-Lord’s father was confirmed, as was the actor who will be playing him. This set off a lot of fans, who felt that this information was “spoiler” for the upcoming sequel, but Gunn has stressed that it’s not. In fact, the character will be a major part of the film from start to finish, and that who he is is not meant to be some kind of shocking plot twist, but rather, it is part of the plot. Gunn took to his Facebook page to explain the situation, and warn fans that they’d better get used to it, since the character and its actor is going to be all over the marketing material and will be part of all the promotions.

| Why ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ SDCC Footage Won’t Be Released |
 |

More often than not, you will find people begging to see footage from the Saturday Hall H at the San Diego Comic-Con, even more so if that footage is from Marvel Studios. Though studios are vigilant when it comes to leaked footage, by the time it is out there, it has already been viewed by the world. Some studios like FOX make the decision not to show up in order to prevent any leaks from happening. But seeing as Marvel owes a bit of gratitude for their success to SDCC, they have to show up. Now they were on hand to show us a tiny bit of footage from Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, and even make an announcement for Black Panther. But much of the audience’s excitement came from Guardians part, which showed us a bit of footage in the form of a clip and teaser trailer. The teaser trailer will probably be released in the near future, although it may be a bit more polished and have some additional footage by that time. However, the clip of Baby Groot helping Yondu and Rocket escape from their prison cell may not appear online at all until after the actual film is released. Director James Gunn actually explained why you probably won’t see the clip any time soon. Check out the video here below.
