| ‘Halloween’ 40th Anniversary Event H40: 40 Years Of Terror Coming This Fall
Later this year a brand new entry in the long-running horror franchise Halloween will be arriving in theaters. But just before that, a massive event is being held called H40: 40 Years of Terror to celebrate the 40th anniversary of John Carpenter‘s classic original and the franchise as a whole. The event, which is being held at the Pasadena Convention Center in October, promises to be the biggest Halloween convention ever with cast and crew from every movie in attendance and more for fans to enjoy. We were promised that the first trailer for the latest installment of the Halloween franchise would be arriving today, and arrive it has. You might have thought that this first trailer would be just a teaser, and fans of the series would have been excited to see that. | See A Poster For New ‘Halloween’ Movie Featuring Michael Myers
A poster has been released for Blumhouse’s new Halloween movie, which features a close-up of the one and only Michael Myers. Despite sharing a title with the original, the movie is actually a sequel, which sees Jamie Lee Curtis returning to the franchise she began her film career with back in 1978. To make things even more confusing, original director John Carpenter, who’s acting as a creative consultant on the new entry, has said that the movie is a direct sequel to the first, ignoring all of the others that followed it. But despite the confusion, it’s still a new Halloween made with some guidance by Carpenter, which is all that’s really needed to be excited. Continue below to see the poster.
