Air date: Sunday, November 29, 2015, 9pm Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Season 6″¦ Seriously”¦”¦”¦ SPOILERS”¦”¦ Episode 6.8, “Start To Finish,” is the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, which means we’ll have to wait till February to find out what happened to the residents of the Alexandria Safe Zone after the latest Walker attack. Because AMC loves to torture us. The Alexandria Safe Zone was supposed to be a piece of paradise inside the hell on earth that exists in the post-apocalyptic Walking Dead universe. But, as Tara and Rosita say in this episode, a place like this comes with a price. Many have died already, and now, it seems that their existence at the Safe Zone might, in fact, be “over.” Rick and his group have gone from place to place trying to find a real home to settle in: First, it was their crude encampment with the RV. Then there was Hershel’s idyllic farm, but it wasn’t a stronghold. The Governor infiltrated the confines of the Prison, and the too-good-to-be-true Terminus turned out to be a cannibal holocaust. The Alexandria Safe Zone was supposed to be their final destination, a true safe haven that was protected against the walkers, as well as a throwback to life before the dead began rising. But, that throwback proved to be a little too much comfort. Without a common enemy to fight (i.e., the Walkers), the Alexandrians got caught up in too much drama. It seems as though the residents let their human squabbles blind them to the point where they forgot that the end of the world had come, and the time for such trivialities was long passed.

Since then, every episode has been a wait to see if Glenn was actually killed or if he managed to somehow survive. As the weeks passed, it seemed more and more like Glenn is gone, and last week, his pregnant wife, Maggie, even seemed to be coming to terms with the loss after abandoning her plans to go out and look for him. Air date: Sunday, November 15, 2015, 9pm Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Season 6… In the previous episode, 6.5 “Now,” of The Walking Dead, Rick had returned to the Safe Zone, and so had Michonne and her group, after the community was attacked by the Wolves. While the audience knew what happened to Glenn and Nicholas, the residents still held out hope for their return — and every fan of the show is still waiting for a miracle that would bring Glenn back. What neither the residents nor the audience knew yet is what happened to Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham. The trio had continued with the original mission to lure a pack of Walkers away from the Alexandria Safe Zone, while Rick and Michonne’s respective groups went to deal with the Walkers that had been drawn away from the path by the loud horn emanating from the Safe Zone, which was under attack by the Wolves. On this week’s The Walking Dead, Episode 6.6 “Always Accountable,” we finally got to see what happened to Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham in a story that stays solely on them and their encounters.

RELEASE DATE: January 6, 2015 I’m terrible at watching TV shows. Just awful. New ones often come around that I really want to check out, and before I know it multiple seasons have come and gone. Seriously—it feels like time travel at times. Being a huge fan of pirates (I even enjoy the Pirates of the Caribbean movies most people aren’t so fond of), Black Sails on Starz was one such show that immediately piqued my attention but got away from me. This is thanks in part to its fairly brief maiden voyage (season one is only eight episodes). But thankfully I was able to check it out on Blu-ray, and with season two having just kicked off recently, I’m happy to finally be on board.
