| Hugh Jackman Wants To See Father-Son Relationship With Prof. X In ‘Wolverine 3’
Wolverine 3 is the final time that Hugh Jackman will play the title character and marks the end of Bryan Singer’s X-Men saga. Little is known about the film’s plot, the actor has teased a few ideas he would like to see in the hero’s sequel. Rumors of an Old Man Logan storyline have been circulating for quite a while, even Jackman seemed to hint at it at SDCC earlier this year. But nothing has been confirmed as of yet. No other actors have been added to the cast yet, but it seems that Patrick Stewart‘s role in the sequel is bigger than originally thought. It doesn’t come as a complete surprise that Hugh Jackman will no longer be bearing those adamantium claws after the third and final Wolverine. The actor has stated that the final installment of the trilogy would be the last time he would play as the iconic X-Men character, which obviously means that Fox would need to find a suitable replacement when the next X-Men or Wolverine film comes around. But because of the mutant’s slow aging ability as well as the fact that the franchise has introduced time-travel to their cinematic universe, the writer(s) could explain why the new Wolverine looks so different from the old one. And with the rumors that X-Men: Apocalypse and Wolverine 3 would bring an end to Bryan Singer’s X-Men universe, it’s a perfect time to find some new blood. | Hugh Jackman In Talks To Join ‘The Odyssey’
A few months back, Lionsgate announced that Francis Lawrence would be directing an adaptation of Homer’s epic poem The Odyssey. Clearly impressed with what he has been able to do with The Hunger Games franchise, the studio is moving forward with the project, which has been slowly developing. Now, there are reports that X-Men film franchise star Hugh Jackman could have the starring role in the adaptation.

| New ‘Pan’ Adventure Trailer Released By Warner Bros.
Another new trailer has been released for Pan, the Peter Pan origins movie from Warner Brothers Pictures that presents a new take on the classic characters created by J.M. Barrie. The movie is directed by Joe Wright, and stars Levi Miller as Peter Pan, Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, Garrett Hedlund as a young Captain Hook, and Amanda Seyfried as Mary. Conan is live at San Diego Comic-Con this week, and we’ve already been treated to a Mad Max: Fury Road style opening, and a Comic-Con citizenship test administered by Chris Hardwick. Conan gave perfect answers. We knew he’d pass! To keep going with the SDCC 2015 frenzy, Conan O’Brien had a special surprise for those who were bummed about Hugh Jackman vacating the Wolverine role: Conan: “We were able, don’t ask me how… to get a hold of the Wolverine auditon tapes.
