| Roberto Orci Will Direct ‘Star Trek 3’
Now that J.J. Abrams is hard at work making Star Wars: Episode VII, Paramount Pictures and Skydance were in need of a new director for the third movie in their rebooted Star Trek franchise. Abrams directed the first two movies, 2009’s Star Trek and 2013’s Star Trek Into Darkness. In what could be considered a risky move, the studios have decided not to find an established big Hollywood blockbuster director to bring in. In fact, they’re not even bringing in an up-and-coming director who might be ready to break out. Instead, it has been decided to hire writer Roberto Orci to direct Star Trek 3.

| Rumor: The Title Of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Is…
Last week, Disney and LucasFilm made a huge Star Wars: Episode VII casting announcement by revealing a photo of the principal cast, which included Star Wars veterans Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher. Seen in the same photo, will be new faces to the franchise: John Boyega, (Attack the Block, 24: Live Another Day), Adam Driver (Girls) Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis), Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit), Domhnall Gleeson (Harry Potter, Dredd), and two-time Academy Award nominee Max von Sydow (The Exorcist, Minority Report), and newcomer Daisy Ridley. There are reports that there are still a few more female roles that will be added to give the cast more diversity. Now, there is a title rumor swirling on the net, just months before it is officially speculated to be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con. Hit the jump to learn more.

| Fox Cancels J.J. Abrams Series ‘Almost Human’
Fox has decided to cancel Almost Human, the J.J. Abrams-produced TV show starring Karl Urban and Michael Ealy, after just one season. The show was set in the year 2048 in a time where crime has overwhelmed the authorities, leading them to implement a new policy forcing all human police officers to be partnered with a human-like android.

After the one announcement that Girls star Adam Driver would be one of the new faces of Star Wars: Episode VII, we all expected that official casting announcements would start coming piece by piece soon. This is not the case. Instead, it has been decided to announce the ENTIRE cast in one fell swoop so you can all decide right away if you approve or dislike the choices that were made. | ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Will Return To Tatooine
Nothing is officially confirmed yet, but it’s been expected for a while now that the Skywalker family will play a part in Star Wars: Episode VII. So it should come as no surprise that the movie will bring us back to the planet Tatooine. According to The Hollywood Reporter, director J.J. Abrams and Disney are planning an “extensive re-creation” of the home of Luke and Anakin Skywalker in a “Morocco-like environment.”
