| ‘Sausage Party’ Cast Includes Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, Edward Norton
Back in September we found out about a new animated comedy from This Is The End writers and directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg titled Sausage Party. But this animated comedy, as you likely suspected, is not one you’ll want your kids watching. The movie is a raunchy R-rated comedy that tells the story of a sausage who falls out of a shopping cart at a grocery store, and meets some new friends as they all embark on a dangerous journey trying to get back to their aisles in the store before the big 4th of July sale. Now comes word of the movie’s voice cast, and, considering the movie comes from Rogen and Goldberg, most of the names should come as no great shock. The cast includes Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, Edward Norton, Nick Kroll, and David Krumholtz.

Don’t call him a hitman, contract killer, or mass murderer – Richard Kuklinski will forever be known to history as The Iceman; a mob enforcer named as such for freezing his victims to confuse the authorities as to the time of death. Portrayed by Michael Shannon in the Ariel Vromen-directed biopic, The Iceman is a crime drama worth your attention. Spanning several decades, The Iceman starts in the 1960s, first depicting Kuklinski’s first date with future wife Deborah (Winona Ryder). Coming from a tortured and abusive background, Kuklinski and his brother Joseph (Stephen Dorff) fall into lives of delinquency, and eventually murder. While Joseph is caught and imprisoned, Richard ends up becoming a mob enforcer for Roy DeMeo (Ray Liotta) as he attempts to also have a normal family life with his wife and daughters.

| It’s Jason Statham Vs. James Franco In The First Trailer For Sylvester Stallone-Scripted ‘Homefront’ |
 |

What do you want from your action movie trailer? No matter what it is you may seek, the first trailer for Homefront is here to bring it to you. Homefront has a very interesting pedigree for typical flick where Jason Statham kicks a bunch of outmatched morons right square in the buttocks without once cracking a smile. It was directed by Gary Fleder (Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead) and based on the novel by Chuck Logan – the sixth featuring his popular hero, ex-Minnesota cop Phil Broker. The film version was adapted by none other than Statham’s valiant Expendables leader Sylvester Stallone and relocates the plot from a small Minnesota town to a rural Southern community. Statham’s Phil Broker is now an ex-D.E.A. agent who moved down South with his daughter to live the quiet life and ride horses every day. All seems well until the day Broker crosses paths with local meth kingpin Gator, played by….wait for it….James Franco. Needless to say, a lot of blood is going to be spilled by the time this movie rolls its end credits. You can watch it in all its deranged splendor here below.

If you keep up with my reviews, you know that I wrote up a review of the last time I saw this movie, which happened to be in real IMAX 3D, and you can find that review here. A quick recap of the story, Oz (James Franco, This is the End), finds himself in the land of Oz, where he goes on a journey to prove himself, with some help from a few witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis, Family Guy), Evanora (Rachel Weisz, The Mummy), and of course we can’t forget about Glinda, (Michelle Williams, Dawson’s Creek), who I thought was one of the highlights as far as acting is concerned. And yes Dorothy, cause this is a Sam Raimi (Spider-Man Trilogy) film, be on the lookout for a familiar chin, Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead) has a cameo appearance.

RELEASE DATE: June 11, 2013 When we first heard back in 2010 that a new movie based on the fantastical tale The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum titled Oz the Great and Powerful was on the way with American Beauty and Skyfall director Sam Mendes and Robert Downey Jr. possibly attached, there was certainly intrigue, but there was also a whole lot of question as to the sanity of Disney. 1939’s The Wizard of Oz is a timeless classic, beloved by millions, and despite it being a remake in its own right (see older versions here) the thought of someone even trying to do anything set in the land of Oz seemed absurd. But as I said over three years ago, Baum’s world and characters are eternally ripe for reinterpretation. Eventually The Evil Dead and Spider-Man director Sam Raimi became attached, then stepped away from the planned World of Warcraft movie to take on Oz. Some complications arose, as is always expected. Downey Jr. was replaced by Johnny Depp for the lead, then James Franco was eventually cast to replace Depp. Obviously things settled down eventually and the movie got made, but does it recapture the same magic that the ’39 classic had, or does it swing and miss?
