| Zack Snyder’s Creative Influence In DCEU To Be Significantly Reduced
Zack Snyder and his wife, producer Deborah Snyder, have been a part of the DCEU creative force since the very beginning. In fact, Zack Snyder has been a major presence having directed Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, some of Suicide Squad, and was an executive producer and/or writer for Wonder Woman and Aquaman. But it appears that the filmmaker’s creative input could be minimized significantly as the DCEU moves forward. According to new reports, the Snyders “will no longer have anything like the level of creative influence that got the franchise to this point.” More on the story below.

| SDCC 2017: ‘Aquaman’ Crosses The Pacific Ocean To Share A Message With Hall H
It wouldn’t be much of a WB panel without a presentation for their flagship franchise, the DCEU. With the screens still lit, the studio confirmed titles for Shazam, Wonder Woman 2, The Flash‘s “Flashpoint” story arc, Green Lantern Corps, The Batman, Suicide Squad 2, and The Batgirl. Now before we start questioning where’s Aquaman, well, they started off the panel with that title.

| New Line Hires Writer For ‘The Conjuring 3’
Now that the franchise as a whole is going by the name The Conjuring Universe, we knew it was only a matter of time before The Conjuring 3 would be on the way. The first two movies making over $638 million worldwide combined probably helps as well. It’s being reported that New Line Cinema has hired The Conjuring 2 writer David Leslie Johnson to work on the script for the trilogy-maker. James Wan, who directed the first two movies and was also a writer and producer on the second installment, is expected to be involved in the project, though the report says he’ll likely produce this time with a new director brought in.

| ‘The Crooked Man’ To Be Next Chapter Of ‘The Conjuring’ Spinoffs
The Conjuring universe is quickly becoming terrifying as it expands. Since its release, the movie has spawned off at least one sequel and multiple spinoffs, some of which got a sequel themselves. Now get ready for the newest spinoff. According to new reports, Warner Bros. is working on their fourth spinoff based on the collection of creatures and possessed items seen in the Conjuring films. | ‘Aquaman’ To Take Place After Events Of ‘Justice League’
It’s very easy to get excited for a film like Wonder Woman, especially with the positive reception it has been getting as of late. And the same goes for Justice League, the mega-ensemble featuring some of the greatest DC heroes of all time. But since its production start date announcement, we know next to nothing about Aquaman. He’s one of the few characters to be introduced in Justice League, but getting his own standalone feature after it.
