| ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Trailer: There’s More To This Futuristic Mystery
Warner Bros. has just unveiled the newest trailer for Denis Villeneuve‘s Blade Runner 2049, and it asks more questions than it answers. The timing of all of this seems a bit odd considering that WB has a panel at this weekend’s SDCC, but who am I to complain about a brand new trailer for one of the most anticipated films of the year. Plus that just leaves more time for some other WB films that we are interested in. But that is beside the point. Here we see a few more details about Officer K’s (Ryan Gosling) case and why he must go out of his way to look into the past to find an aged Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford). More on the trailer below.

| Disney Interested In Rebooting ‘Tron’ With Jared Leto As The Lead
There has been an interesting number of developments surrounding Tron lately. Most recently, Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski revealed that had Disney followed up with Tron 3, the film would have been an invasion movie from inside the machine coming out, with the first act taking place in the real world, followed by the second act which would have been set in Tron (or multiple worlds), before ending it all in the real world. While the film has been on hold, it looks like the studio may be interested in reviving the franchise once more, and this time with a new lead. According to new reports, Suicide Squad star Jared Leto is being eyed for the lead role. More on the story below.

| David Ayer Admits He Should Have Done ‘Suicide Squad’ Differently
Suicide Squad may not be the most popular film amongst critics and some fans, but it was one of the top-grossing films of last year. Warner Bros. third entry of the DC Extended Universe was polarizing in more ways than one. The loyal fanbase supported the film even though critics eviscerated it for having too many plotholes and a lack of character motivation. But if there is one thing that Suicide Squad suffered from the most, it’s the fact that the marketing campaign failed to deliver its promise on giving us the Joker (Jared Leto). Sure the Clown Price of Crime was in the film, but trailers and TV spots had assured us he would be a vital plot point. Instead, he was an unnecessary factor. Even Leto voiced his displeasure saying that he shot enough footage for a Joker movie. The extended edition supports that fact.
