Universal Pictures has released the latest trailer for David Gordon Green‘s Halloween, a new entry in the classic horror franchise.

The film sees Jamie Lee Curtis returning to reprise her role as Laurie Strode, who must confront Michael Myers one final time. Check out the new trailer and a poster below

Influenced by the work of seminal horror writer H. P. Lovecraft, In the Mouth of Madness is the third installment in John Carpenter‘s Apocalypse Trilogy, preceded by The Thing and Prince of Darkness. The 1994 film’s title references Lovecraft’s 1936 novella, At the Mountains of Madness, and insanity plays a significant role in both the movie and the novella.

Later this year a brand new entry in the long-running horror franchise Halloween will be arriving in theaters. But just before that, a massive event is being held called H40: 40 Years of Terror to celebrate the 40th anniversary of John Carpenter‘s classic original and the franchise as a whole.

The event, which is being held at the Pasadena Convention Center in October, promises to be the biggest Halloween convention ever with cast and crew from every movie in attendance and more for fans to enjoy.
