At the bi-annual Destination D event at Anaheim’s Disneyland Hotel last week, the Disney D23 Official Disney Fan Club hosted a series of events that focused on the legendary history of Disney animated features. Hundreds of Disney fans gathered inside the resort’s convention center to obtain exclusive access to lectures, concerts and footage. Over the coming weeks inside Disney In Depth, I will cover some of those topics featured in the fascinating presentations held at Destination D. As for now, this edition will focus on the exciting future of the division we know as Disney animation. Walt Disney Animation Studios appears like it is entering that third renaissance we have all been waiting for. With the beautiful The Princess and the Frog and delightful Tangled leading the way, the studio that suffered from creative missteps like Home on the Range is now producing hit films that resonate with audiences and appeal to critics to boot. | Bradley Cooper Sports A Crazy New Look In The Comedy ‘Hit And Run’
Bradley Cooper started his big film career in comedy, but recent entries in his filmography have shown him flexing his drama muscles. But the actor hasn’t forgotten his comedic roots and you will be able to see him strut in Dax Shepard and David Palmer‘s comedy Hit and Run. And just to see what Cooper is capable of comedically, a new trailer has appeared online – watch it here below. The film stars Shepard as Charlie Bronson, a former get-a-way driver who is now in witness protection who’s left a bad impression with his former employer (Cooper) on a job that didn’t go as originally planned. And when he goes to find Bronson and take back what is rightfully his, Bronson and his girlfriend (Shepard’s real-life fiancee, actress Kristen Bell) go on the run. Michael Rosenbaum, Kristin Chenoweth, Beau Bridges, and Tom Arnold also star.

| ‘It’s Always Sunny’ Creators Bring Animated Comedy ‘Unsupervised’ To FX
FX, the network behind hit shows like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Rescue Me, and Sons of Anarchy, has picked up a brand new animated comedy series called Unsupervised. The series comes from It’s Always Sunny creators (and stars) Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton‘s RCG Productions banner. It’s part of a recent three–year, $50 million deal between the company and FX. The show is created and executive produced by Rob Rosell, Scott Marder, and David Hornsby, who have also worked on It’s Always Sunny.
