| Emily VanCamp and Daniel Brühl In Talks To Join Disney+ Series ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’
Most of the Avengers roster has been lost because of death or retirement, but some of the heroes will live on and continue to avenge through a variety of shows that will appear exclusively on Disney’s upcoming Disney+ streaming service. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will bring back Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan to reprise their respective titular roles. Though it’s not clear what will happen to the pair post-Avengers: Endgame, it looks like the two will run into some familiar faces. According to new reports, Emily VanCamp and Daniel Brühl are both in talks to reprise their respective roles on the upcoming show. Additionally, Kari Skogland (The Walking Dead) has been hired to direct the series. More on this below.

| James Gunn Reflects On Disney Firing and Rehiring
Last summer, James Gunn was in the midst of preparing for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the closing installment of the Guardians trilogy. What happened after that can only be described as a whirlwind of crazy. First he was fired by Disney for some old tweets that were dug up. Then he was hired by WB to write The Suicide Squad, which eventually led to him directing as well. Finally, he was rehired by Disney to finish the Guardians trilogy. The filmmaker, who is usually vocal on social media, has been silent about those recent events. At least up until now. Gunn is now opening up about what has happened to him, how he thought he would never be rehired, and the status of both The Suicide Squad and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Spider-Man: Far From Home is the final chapter of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will see the Webslinger dealing with the fallout of Avengers: Endgame. Many of the founding Avengers have moved on one way or another, with some of them passing on the mantle and title to other heroes. And based on the latest trailer, Spidey will be one of those heroes. And before he can take on those responsibilities, he will be going on a European vacation. Which is abruptly interrupted when Spidey (Tom Holland) is recruited by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to join Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal), who just so happens to be from another universe. Together, they must deal with a new elemental threat that comes from Beck’s Earth. While many believed that Beck was using his Mysterio persona and knack for using Hollywood special effects, as well as smoke and mirrors, to pull off his crimes, director Jon Watts seems to hint that Beck isn’t the same person that we know him to be.
