In the past few years, it has been making a name for itself, and with Lionsgate announcing that they will be presenting footage from John Wick: Chapter 2 and Power Rangers, it looks like audiences are in for some more geek goodness. 20th Century Fox is the latest studio to announce that they will be having a panel for their upcoming films as well. War of the Planet of the Apes recently added East Los High actor Gabriel Chavarria to the cast. | ‘War Of The Planet Of The Apes’ Finds New Human Lead |
 |

The reboot of the Planet of the Apes film franchise has been built around Caesar (Andy Serkis), the chimp who would help lead his fellow primates in a revolution against their human captors. Since the events of the first film, the Simian flu has nearly wiped out all of humanity, with a few remaining survivors building an immunity. However, tensions are still high as the some of the humans blame the apes for the spread of the sickness, and ultimately, an act of double cross from the ape faction combined with human hostility would lead to war against each other. It wouldn’t be much of a Planet of the Apes without humans in it. James Franco and Jason Clarke played our human heroes in the last two films, and now War of the Planet of the Apes will be getting a brand new human lead. New reports are confirming that East Los High actor Gabriel Chavarria will join the human faction in Matt Reeves‘ War of the Planet of the Apes. More on this story below.
