| ‘Sausage Party’ Cast Includes Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, Edward Norton
Back in September we found out about a new animated comedy from This Is The End writers and directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg titled Sausage Party. But this animated comedy, as you likely suspected, is not one you’ll want your kids watching. The movie is a raunchy R-rated comedy that tells the story of a sausage who falls out of a shopping cart at a grocery store, and meets some new friends as they all embark on a dangerous journey trying to get back to their aisles in the store before the big 4th of July sale. Now comes word of the movie’s voice cast, and, considering the movie comes from Rogen and Goldberg, most of the names should come as no great shock. The cast includes Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, Edward Norton, Nick Kroll, and David Krumholtz.

Some say it’s the most popular sitcom from the 2000s. Others deem it has a cult following. Either way, Arrested Development has become a phenomenon among its fans – a show that, while created by Mitchell Hurwitz, is driven mainly by Ron Howard. Taking the conception of filming a sitcom using the style of reality television, and littering the show with pop culture references (as well as its own memes that it develops over time), Arrested Development is an amusing viewing experience, though overrated. The series takes on the concept of "riches to rags", of a wealthy family that fall on bad times when their father George Bluth (the CEO, played by Jeffrey Tambor) is arrested by the SEC. Taking a massive hit to the company, son Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) takes on the responsibility of bringing the business back to profitability while trying to keep his family together.

Written and directed by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, This is the End is an apocalyptic meta-comedy where celebrities play exaggerated versions of themselves on the eve of Judgment Day. Jay Baruchel (Goon, Knocked Up) arrives in L.A to visit old friend and fellow Canadian Seth Rogen, who invites Jay to a housewarming party at James Franco‘s new million-dollar mecca. At the bacchanalian get-together, hordes of celebrities schmooze and booze with one another. Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Mindy Kaling (The Office), and David Krumholtz (Freaks and Geeks) carry on meaningless conversations while a coked-out Michael Cera slaps Rihanna‘s ass and starts a fight with his Superbad co-star Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Jay feels uncomfortable around Seth’s new Hollywood friends “” including Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, and Emma Watson “” so Seth agrees to accompany him to a convenience store for cigarettes. While they’re perusing the candy aisle, beams of blue light shoot down from the sky and abduct a handful of the store’s customers. Frightened, Jay and Seth make their way back to Franco’s fortress amid explosions, car crashes, and mass hysteria as people are beamed up into the clouds.
