| Paramount Releases 5 Teaser Videos For The ‘Ghost In The Shell’ Movie
Back in April we saw the first image of Scarlett Johansson from Paramount Pictures’ live-action adaptation of the Japanese manga Ghost in the Shell. Now Paramount is doing something a little different. They haven’t released the first teaser trailer, or a quick teaser video to promote the release of the first trailer as we see so often these days. Instead, they’ve released five brief teaser videos, each with a few moments of footage. You can read more about the movie and watch all five of the videos below.

| ‘Rings’: First Trailer For Next Movie In ‘The Ring’ Franchise Arrives
It’s been 14 years since The Ring, the American remake of the 1998 Japanese horror flick Ringu, was released and became a box office hit. That’s right—you thought that ’80s favorite celebrating its 30-somethingth anniversary made you feel old; just think about those movies from the ’00s you were sure just came out a few years ago getting ready to head off to high school. They grow up so fast. Hell, it’s already been over 11 years since the 2005 sequel was released. Thankfully for us Paramount Pictures was kind enough to make a third movie in the franchise which hasn’t even come out yet, so we can go back to pretending we’re young again. The trilogy-maker is titled Rings, and Paramount has released the first trailer for the movie. Click on over to the other side to give it a watch.

Paramount has released a new trailer for Denis Villeneuve‘s Arrival starring Amy Adams as a world-renowned linguist who is brought in by the military to help them speak to mysterious aliens that have recently touched down on earth. The film also stars Jeremy Renner, Forest Whitaker, and Michael Stuhlbarg as the earthlings who will help Adams’ character figure out with the extraterrestrials come in peace or are on Earth for war. | David Fincher In Talks To Direct ‘World War Z 2’ With Brad Pitt
From the news you were least expecting to read this week department, it’s being reported that two-time Academy Award nominee David Fincher is in talks to direct the zombie blockbuster sequel World War Z 2. The original starred and was produced by Brad Pitt, who is set to return for the sequel. Pitt has worked with Fincher three times in the past (Seven, Fight Club, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), which led him to reach out to Fincher after previously attached director J.A. Bayona departed in order to direct the Jurassic World sequel. The report states that it’s Pitt, Paramount, and Skydance, who are talking to Fincher about taking the job.

| Trailer For ‘Jack Reacher’ Sequel ‘Never Go Back’
Paramount Pictures has released a trailer for the sequel to 2012’s Jack Reacher. The sequel, which is titled Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, once again stars Tom Cruise in the title role as he returns to Virginia to meet up with the head of his former unit, only to discover that she’s not there. Also starring is Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother, Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Holt McCallany (Fight Club, Three Kings), and Aldis Hodge (Straight Outta Compton, TURN: Washington’s Spies).
