| Bill Murray Explains His ‘Ghostbusters’ Reboot Cameo
Whenever a reboot or remake happens, sometimes the original stars appear in some sort of cameo as a nod to its fans. In Paul Feig‘s new vision of Ghostbusters starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, a few of the surviving members of the original film are coming back in a cameo capacity. Dan Aykroyd was the first to be announced, followed by a surprising confirmation of Bill Murray’s participation. Murray was the last person anyone would have thought to have joined this film, mostly because he didn’t want to concede to do a Ghostbusters 3. Now he is revealing why he decided to be in the new Ghostbusters. Check out his explanation here below.

| ‘Ghostbusters’ Reboot Cast and Crew Send Message To The Haters (Photo)
It still surprises me that we live in a time where an all-female Ghostbusters film is deemed unacceptable by some. Last time I checked, it was 2015. Whatever the reasons why the haters say what they are saying about the new Ghostbusters, the film lead by Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones is still happening. While it is not surprising to see the vitriol reactions for the reboot (not all of it on the idea of an all-female Ghostbusters) on social media, McCarthy has stepped up to show just how powerful women can be, and not only the female performing talent, but the talent behind the stunts, writing, editing, makeup, costumes, casting, and much much more. Check out the actress’ latest Instagram post below, which includes a photo of the female cast and crew members of the upcoming film with a message.

Dan Aykroyd signed on for a cameo role in the new Paul Feig-directed reboot, which is currently in production in Boston. But he won’t be the only original member of the Ghostbusters cast to cameo in the reboot. Reports are coming in that Bill Murray had arrived in Boston last week, to shoot his own cameo appearance. More on this story here below.

Now Feig has shared another image featuring all of these things; however this time the four new ghost bustin’ team members, played by Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, are also present. Feig also included a custom hashtag as he has been doing, and of course this time it was #whoyougonnacall. You can see the new ladies of Ghostbusters in full gear standing next to the Ecto-1 below.

Another new image has been released from the Ghostbusters reboot, this time giving us our first look at the new Ecto-1, the official vehicle the team uses to go and take care of all of those spectral nuisances around the city.
