Marc Webb, the director of next year’s web-slingin’ sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2, has done a stand-out job keeping us posted on the production of the film via Twitter. Recently we’ve seen the first photos of Jamie Foxx as the villain Electro. Inevitably we would soon get a glimpse of Paul Giamatti as the second half of the movie’s super-powered baddie tag team, the Rhino. True to form, Webb has now granted us the first photo of Giamatti in character and in action as the Rhino. You can check it out here below.

| ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Starts Production; Synopsis & New Casting Revealed
Sony has announced that The Amazing Spider-Man 2, directed by Marc Webb, has officially entered the production phase and has released the film’s official synopsis. The studio also confirmed a couple of new casting additions, one of which we reported on just days ago. Hit the jump to check out the plot description and the two new casting additions. Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Sally Field all return to reprise their respective roles. Jamie Foxx, Dane Dehaan, and Shailene Woodley will join them in the highly anticipated sequel. In addition to those three, Paul Giamatti, who is rumored to play The Rhino, has been confirmed. Colm Feore (Chronicles of Riddick and Thor) also joins the cast.

| Paul Giamatti In Negotiations To Play The Rhino In ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’
The casting of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is about to take one very strange turn. Paul Giamatti is reportedly in talks to play the Rhino. If this actually happens, he would be joining Electro (Jamie Foxx) as a possible pair of foes to face off against the webslinger. Like Crazy star Felicity Jones is also rumored to be in talks to join the cast. For those who may be unfamiliar with the hulking villain, The Rhino is a Russian hitman endowed with a powerful thick hide for defense equipped with a large razor sharp horn for offensive destruction. A constant threat to Spider-Man, the Rhino made his debut Amazing Spider-Man #41 in 1966.

| ‘Turbo’ Trailer: Ryan Reynolds Is Going The Distance, He’s Going For Speed
A snail that dreams of being as fast as a NASCAR race car is perhaps the most clique thing ever. Obviously it can work as some sort of inspiration/motivational story for a younger audience, and thankfully DreamWorks Animation saw the potential in that and created Turbo. The film centers on a snail (voiced by Ryan Reynolds) who dreams of racing in the big leagues. And the trailer leads you to believe he can do it up until the end that is. Of course this being a teaser, there isn’t a whole lot to get into. Check out the first trailer and synopsis for Turbo below.
