If Beale Street Could Talk is Barry Jenkins‘ latest directorial effort following the Academy Award-winning Moonlight.

While the film will be released in December, it has already made the festival rounds at TIFF. And many see that the film could earn some big nominations. Now, there is one last trailer to remind you that the film is coming. Check it out, below.

He may have been Tyrion Lannister’s champion on Game of Thrones, but Pedro Pascal will be a different kind of champion for Star Wars fans.

A new report confirms that the actor will be the one to lead The Mandalorian, the Star Wars series that’s coming to Disney’s streaming service Disney+, which launches later next year. The full report, below.

Wonder Woman 1984 started production earlier this year with the intent to be released in theaters in November of next year. However, things have changed.

Now Warner Bros. is pushing back its release all the way to June 5, 2020. That’s a whole seven months later than it was supposed to hit theaters. But there may be a reason for that move. More on the report below.

Prospect debuted at SXSW in March and has a theatrical run coming up this Fall. Written and directed by Chris Caldwell and Zeek Earl, the film is a feature-length version of their 2014 short, and it also serves as the first feature-length film distributed by Gunpowder & Sky’s sci-fi label DUST.

Taking place in the future where fortunes can be made and lives can be lost in a sort of intergalactic version of wild west prospecting, a father (Duplass) and daughter Thatcher head to a toxic alien moon in an effort for one big score. The film stars Sophie Thatcher as Cee, Jay Duplass as her father Damon, and Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal as Ezra. Prospect is an excellent film, that has the nerve to challenge its audience.

Annapurna Pictures has released an official trailer for If Beale Street Could Talk, the latest from Barry Jenkins, the Academy Award winning writer and director behind Best Picture winner Moonlight.

The movie is based on author James Baldwin‘s 1974 novel of the same name, and follows a woman trying to prove the innocence of her incarcerated lover while pregnant with their child.
