The Mandalorian Star Wars

The third day of Star Wars Celebration brought us our first look at Disney+’s The Mandalorian. From The Jungle Book and Iron Man director Jon Favreau, the first ever live-action Star Wars TV show will “follow the travels of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic”¦” Though that seemed a bit vague at the time, we knew it would follow the title character and the field of bounty hunting.

So Favreau, Dave Filoni, and castmembers Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, and Carl Weathers took to the stage to talk about the inspiration, their approach to the show, and talk about some of the characters that we will see. Check it out here below.

Patty Jenkins Directs Wonder Woman

Director Patty Jenkins‘ sequel Wonder Woman 1984, starring Gal Gadot is easily one of the most anticipated films of next year. The sequel is apparently so massive that it had to be pushed back from its November 2019 release all the way to summer 2020. But it is never too early to talk about the inevitable third installment of the franchise.

Given its success and the worldwide appeal the character has, it would be a huge surprise if there isn’t a Wonder Woman 3. And Jenkins isn’t exactly shy to talk about what we could see in it. Nor is she afraid to talk about fan requests for her to direct a Justice League film. More on all of that below.

The Mandalorian Star Wars

Rumors surrounding the casting of Disney+’s The Mandalorian, the studio’s first live-action Star Wars series, have been circulating for the past few weeks. Pedro Pascal was named as the titular lone gunfighter who “travels to the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.” And now, there is confirmation.

Lucasfilm has confirmed that Pascal will be playing as that lone gunfighter. And he won’t be alone. He will be joined by the already confirmed Gina Carano (Deadpool) and Nick Nolte (Affliction). Additionally, Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), and Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man) will be joining the cast as well. More on the report, below.
