A brand new trailer has been released for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, the third movie in the massive cinematic franchise that’s based on the hugely popular book series from author Suzanne Collins. The trailer is titled “The Mockingjay Lives.”

A collection of first images from the highly anticipated second installment in the Hunger Games movie franchise, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, have been released online.

The images show Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, and newcomer Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair.

There is going to be a very familiar tune when you take a look at the new motion poster for the highly anticipated The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Production for the new Francis Lawrence-directed film should be nearing completion. In two days we will be a year way from the film’s release, so the Lionsgate marketing team has decided to release the brand new poster now.

Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, and Donald Sutherland will all be joined by newcomers Jena Malone, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Lynn Cohen, Alan Ritchson, Sam Claflin and Jeffrey Wright. With a new poster out, this could mean that a teaser trailer is not too far behind. Lionsgate will release The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in IMAX on November 22, 2013. It’s become very clear that the Osborn family and corporation will be a major factor The Amazing Spider-Man 2. We previously posted that Brady Corbet (Tetro), Alden Ehrenreich (Beautiful Creatures), and Dane Dehaan (Chronicle) were up for the role of Harry Osborn, son of Norman Osborn and heir to OsCorp.

Now you can add Sam Claflin, Eddie Redmayne, Boyd Holbrook, and Douglas Booth to the mix as they will also be in the running for the same role. These seven actors will test for the role in the coming days. Filming is expected to begin sometime early next year.

A short time ago it was reported that Sam Claflin had entered into talks to take on the role of Finnick Odair in the highly anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games, Catching Fire.

Claflin had been on a shortlist of actors wanted for the role that also included Taylor Kitsch and Garrett Hedlund.

Now comes word that the actor has officially signed on to play Finnick, a “charismatic” and “clever” resident of District 4 who won the Hunger Games when he was only 14 years of age.
