| ‘Terminator’ Reboot Officially Makes Emilia Clarke New Sarah Connor
Recently we found out that Zero Dark Thirty star Jason Clarke was in talks to take on the role of John Connor in the upcoming Terminator reboot said to be titled Terminator: Genesis. At the time, the search to find the new Sarah Connor had come down to two actresses: Emilia Clarke (no relation), and Brie Larson. Now the choice has been made. It’s being reported that Emilia has officially been chosen to take on the iconic Sarah Connor role, despite being almost a couple of decades younger than the actor playing the part of her son. | ‘Tomb Raider’ Reboot Writers Want To Create ‘Alien’ & ‘Terminator’ Level Female Lead
A pair of writers have been hired to pen the script for a planned reboot of the Tomb Raider movie franchise. | New Poster & Second Trailer For ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ Released |
|
A brand new full trailer has been released for Platinum Dunes’ remake of the iconic horror franchise, A Nightmare on Elm Street. The movie stars Jackie Earle Haley and tells the story of a man who is falsely accused of being a pedophile and burned alive by a mob of angry parents. Unfortunately for all of us, after his body is engulfed in accusing fires, his tormented soul remains and begins to kill children as they sleep and dream. The new trailer gives us a much better look at the new Freddy Krueger and the trippy, hellish nightmare worlds that we can expect to see. It does appear that they’ve decided to use a lot of stuff from older movies instead of creating a completely unique new Nightmare world. That paired with the difficult-to-warm-up-to appearance change of Freddy himself has fans a little worried about how the final product will play; but for now, this is fans of the franchise’s best peek yet! Click on over to the other side to check out the new trailer and click the image above to look at the new poster.

| Sarah Connor Confirmed For ‘Terminator Salvation’
It had been rumored for a long, long while, but now CHUD has confirmation from a source that was able to see an early screening of the movie that Linda Hamilton did indeed record some voice over as Sarah Connor, and that it plays right at the beginning at the movie. Apparently the voice over is, as hoped and expected, similar to the voice over at the end of Terminator 2. Now that this has been confirmed, all we need to know is how we may or may not see a one Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie. I wouldn’t be shocked if it was also some form of voice over work along with Roland Kickinger — the other, younger Austrian body building look-alike — handling the visual aspects of the T-800.
