| ‘Suicide Squad’: Tom Hardy Drops Out, Jake Gyllenhaal Might Be In
A quick update for those of you who were excited about the great cast announced for the DC Comics movie Suicide Squad. As it turns out, The Dark Knight Rises and Mad Max: Fury Road star Tom Hardy has had to drop out of the project. The reason for Hardy’s departure is what it usually is: a scheduling conflict. Hardy is currently filming a frontier drama titled The Revenant from Oscar nominated Birdman director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu that also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, which is going to take longer to finish than previously anticipated.

| Suicide Squad Movie: Jared Leto Is Joker; Will Smith, Tom Hardy, More Also Confirmed
The cast for director David Ayer‘s anti-hero ensemble Suicide Squad has just been announced, and the names that have been confirmed reveal a very impressive cast. It has been confirmed that Jared Leto will play the Joker, while Will Smith has been cast as Deadshot, not Boomerang as originally thought. Tom Hardy comes back to play in the DC cinematic sandbox, but won’t reprise his role as Bane from The Dark Knight Rises; instead he will play Rick Flag the founder of the Suicide Squad. While it was reported that Jai Courtney would play Deadshot, but in actuality, he is signed on to play Boomerang. Cara Delevinge will play Enchantress, and not Vixen as originally thought. Margot Robbie was the first to be cast, she will play Harley Quinn. More after the jump.

| Jai Courtney In Talks For ‘Suicide Squad’ As Deadshot
Another actor is up for a role in WB’s Suicide Squad, which will be the next DC Comics movie released after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It’s being reported that Jai Courtney, star of Spartacus: Blood and Sand, A Good Day to Die Hard, Divergent, and the upcoming Terminator: Genisys, is in talks for a role in the movie that could turn out to be Batman villain Deadshot.

| Margot Robbie Will Play Harley Quinn In ‘Suicide Squad’
Warner Bros.’ DC Comic Film universe is continuing to develop. One of those films that will venture out of the superhero realm is the Suicide Squad. David Ayers has already signed on to direct the film, due out in theaters in August 2016, but Suicide Squad has no cast yet. However, the line-up may have started to form. Jesse Eisenberg, who will play Lex Luthor in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, may reprise his role in the film; while Jared Leto has been rumored to play the Joker. Now, there is confirmation that Margot Robbie (Wolf Of Wall Street) will play Harley Quinn.
