The culprit, was a man who lost his entire family to gun violence and was angry that the city did not pass a gun measure. Air Date: Tuesday, February 21st, 2017, 9:00pm Two weeks ago on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the legends needed to save George Washington and the outcome of the Revolutionary War, because evil Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and the Legion of Doom – Damian Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn, and Eobard Thawne (Neal McDonough, John Barrowman, Matt Letscher) caused an aberration to grab the piece of the Spear of Destiny. Washington was scheduled to hang as a traitor, but Mick, Nate, and Amaya (Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers) saved the day. Sarah (Caity Lotz) almost died when she was shot and Rip choked her, and the ship was offline. Stein (Victor Garber) tried to save her, as Jax (Franz Drameh) tried to defend the ship and the piece of Spear. Sarah was saved, but the spear was taken. Nate and Amaya became more than just friends. Air Date: Tuesday, February 21st, 2017, 8:00pm Two weeks ago on The Flash, the meta of the day was one that Alchemy aka Julian (Tom Felton) had awakened. His touch had the ability to cause matter to disintegrate, and people to decompose to ash. That meta, Clive Yorkin (Matthew Kevin Anderson), went after cops that collared him in Flashpoint. He touched Iris (Candice Patton) to hurt Joe West (Jesse L. Martin). Barry (Grant Gustin) figured that out, so Cisco (Carlos Valdes) vibed there to find the next target. Yorkin caused a train full of people to be in danger, so Barry vibed the whole train safely through, leaving Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) to vibe (for the first time) through Yorkin with a neutralizer. He got thrown in jail and Caroline (Candice King) came to his rescue. Cade (Wolé Parks) told Damon (Ian Somerhalder) that they were free, but Stefan would die at midnight unless he retrieved the Maxwell journal. The journal held the secret to killing Cade (we saw that in a Matt/Ethan Maxwell flashback (Zach Roerig). Damon stole it and sealed the deal. He told Alaric (Matthew Davis) he had an idea on how to kill the devil. Kai (Chris Wood) walked in. Bonnie (Kat Graham) wanted to grab Enzo (Michael Malarkey) from the other side, but her mother stopped her. Spoilers below.
