| SDCC 2017: ‘iZombie’ Highlights & A Message From Robert Knepper
Warning! Do not proceed of you are not all caught up with iZombie! Last season of iZombie ended on a crazy note. Ravi (Rahul Kohli) created one dose of a zombie vaccine, and he asked his best friend Liv (Rose McIver) to do the honors of scratching him. Zombies are out of the closet, after Chase reluctantly goes through with “Plan B,” infecting half of Seattle with a vaccine that was really the virus. Check out the videos below.

| ‘Supergirl’ Recast: Laura Benanti Out As Alura And ‘Smallville’ Alum In
Supergirl announced Friday that Laura Benanti would not be returning as Kara Danvers aka Supergirl’s birth mother, Alura Zor-El, in the upcoming 3rd season. Benanti also played General Astra, twin sister of the deceased Alura and sort of enemy of Supergirl (Melissa Benoist). Erica Durance, who played Lois Lane in the Superman series, Smallville, will take over the recurring role. More below.

Last week on Arrow, the team disappeared one by one, courtesy of madman Adrian Chase and Black Siren (Josh Segarra, Katie Cassidy). Oliver (Stephen Amell) surmised that Talia al Ghul (Lexa Doig) was in on it too, after they found one of her arrows. They were taken to Lian Yu. Merlyn (John Barrowman) joined Oliver to save Thea (Willa Holland). Loyal Nyssa (Katrina Law) joined despite hating Merlyn. Oliver freed Chase after he showed him that he kidnapped his son, William (Jack Moore). Once Oliver figured out where Chase must have taken everyone, he went to the prison on Lian Yu, and asked Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) for his help. Spoilers below.

Last week’s Flash was full of tears, as Barry (Grant Gustin), desperate to save Iris (Candice Patton) as the clock wound down, went back in time to get Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) to help him steal an energy source from A.R.G.U.S. This energy was needed to fuel the “speedforce bazooka” that Tracy Brand (Anne Dudek) built, inspired by her muse and crush HR (Tom Cavanagh). After a harrowing reenactment of Jaws, they retrieved it and Barry and Snart said goodbye in a bittersweet moment for Captain Cold fans. The team went to Infantino Street to stop Savitar from killing Iris, but it didn’t work. Savitar ran Iris through and Barry held her body in his arms. Vibe (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) faced off. Spoilers below.

The British Men of Letters and Lady Bevell (Elizabeth Blackmore) were brainwashing her. Sam and Dean (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) got the best of Bevell, but then Ketch (David Haydn-Jones) came and entombed all 3 of them in the bunker to die, with brainwashed Mary’s help. The power started to reverse between Crowley and Lucifer (Mark Sheppard, Mark Pellegrino), until Lucifer broke free and gleefully killed Crowley. Spoilers below.
