| Three Actors From ‘The Raid’ Will Appear In ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’
Star Wars: The Force Awakens already tops many critics most anticipated lists, and with good reason. But the latest news is giving us another reason to be excited for this very highly anticipated film. If the reports are true, three of the principle actors from The Raid and The Raid 2: Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian (who played Mad Dog and Prakoso in the films), and Cecep Arif Rahman (who played “The Assassin” and had a fight scene towards the end of The Raid 2) have roles in the film, and could be involved in a much larger capacity. And if you have seen either of Gareth Evans’ films, that means the action sequences in J.J. Abrams‘ upcoming movie should be awesome. Hit the jump for the full report.

| Mike Lee’s Top 15 Films Of 2014
Now that 2014 is over, we are left with deciding which movies were the best of the year. Contrary to to what the box office says, 2014 was a pretty amazing year in film. But as I look back at the 100 or so films that I have seen in the past year, the following 15 films are the ones that I have seen repeatedly, could not stop talking about, or have had the biggest impact one me. Of course this is a subjective list, as there are plenty of other films that I have and have not seen that are or could be better, but honestly, these 15 left the biggest impact on me. I’ll also throw in a couple of honorable mentions. Hit the jump to check it out.

As the big summer movie season is winding down and soon it will be Oscar season, it’s that time of the year to figure out what my top ten movies of the year, as we just passed the halfway point of the year. At this point I have seen 54 new movies, and once again, this includes any new or old movie that I have seen for the first time. And so the first cut, is the easiest, as I get rid of any movie that didn’t come out in 2014. But as the final ten movies are locked it, a few just missed the cut, and those were Godzilla and Life Itself. I was one of the few people who enjoyed Godzilla, even with its issues, and Life Itself was a great look at Roger Ebert, a man who all of us who review movies want to be like. But enough about the ones that didn’t make it, let’s get to My Top Ten Movies Of 2014 (So Far).

| ‘The Raid 2’ Deleted Scene and Clip Show How Bloody Rival Gangs and Car Chases Can Be
The Raid 2 is just one of those action films that you have to watch this year. Following the events of the first Raid, Rama (Iko Uwais) is now assigned to be an undercover cop who has to infiltrate one of Indonesia’s most dangerous crime families. In an effort to keep everyone he loves safe, Rama agrees to the assignment, not knowing how dangerous or how deep he has to go underground. I usually refrain from posting clips, but having seen the movie already — and one of the clips being shown is actually a deleted scene — I think it will be okay. If anything, these clips don’t even cover how bloody The Raid 2 really is. And honestly, with a 150-minute run time, I think I can understand why director Gareth Evans may have excluded the rival gang shootout scene. So hit the jump to check them out.
