| James Franco As Tommy Wiseau For ‘The Disaster Artist’ Image: Josh Hutcherson, Kate Upton Join Cast

James Franco is playing Tommy Wiseau in a movie about the making of The Room, a cult classic widely considered to be the worst movie ever made that was written, directed, produced, and starred Wiseau in the lead role. Franco, who’s also directing, has shared an image from the set of the movie, titled The Disaster Artist, with him in full Wiseau costume and accompanied by his brother Dave Franco, who plays the actor who played Mark (oh hai), Greg Sestero. A bunch of actors have also recently joined the cast, including Josh Hutcherson and Kate Upton. You can see the image and read more about the cast and who they’re playing below.

Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!
DVD
Season Cinco
Starring Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim, Richard Dunn, David Liebe Hart, James Quall
Cartoon Network
Release Date: May 17, 2011
To watch Adult Swim’s Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! is to subject yourself to an experience akin to sitting in the audience of a lethal injection while dwarves in clown makeup throw individually-wrapped slices of cheese on the walls and floor-mounted speakers blast out the immortal eardrum-bleeding ditty “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” by Tiny Tim at different volumes and various revolution speeds. When it’s all over you will find that you’ve laughed, cringed, recoiled in stark horror, and sat in front of your television set wondering just what the fuck that was all about. This is a show that the late comedy writer Michael O’Donoghue, a.k.a. Saturday Night Live‘s Mr. Mike, would have found immensely entertaining. After all, what is O’Donoghue’s Mr. Mike’s Mondo Video if not a Tim & Eric prototype, only much stranger?

| Tommy Wiseau Talks Releasing ‘The Room’ In 3D/Blu-ray, New Clothing Line
Fans of Tommy Wiseau‘s so-bad-it’s-oh-so-good cult classic, The Room, will be thrilled to know that you have not seen the last of the movie’s offerings. Talking to Entertainment Weekly recently, Wiseau confirmed that he has full intentions of releasing The Room not only on Blu-ray with lots and lots of behind-the-scenes features, but that he also plans on giving the movie a full 3D makeover, complete with a theatrical re-release. Wiseau spoke about the conversion, saying “The process is very detail-oriented. But we want to do it because I’m obsessed about 3D right now, if you ask me.” He even touched on his own gluteus maximus and its three-dimensional inclusion, adding “My bottom will have to be in 3-D because I’m not changing anything, so you’ll be very close.”

| Must Play: Tribute Flash Game Based On Tommy Wiseau’s ‘The Room’ |
 |

If you’ve ever seen Tommy Wiseau‘s now legendary cult classic, The Room, then this post is for you. The movie, for those who are unaware, is easily the worst movie ever made. Seriously, in the history of cinema, nothing even comes close…not even Troll 2, some might argue. Your mind is blown over and over and over at what you’re seeing, and you sometimes can’t even help but wonder if this is real. Wiseau himself has even said it was meant to be like that, but deep down we all have trouble believing that. Even so, the movie has an amazing fan base who find so much to love in all of its failings. There’s something so immensely entertaining about the movie, the story, the characters, and all of the random things they do and say for no reason whatsoever. The Room has special screenings where fans flock to scream and react to certain scenes, there’s countless drinking games at the click of a Google search, and the joy just never really ends. To that, we can add one more delight to the pile. Tom Fulp, creator of the fantastic time-killing website, Newgrounds, has now created the end-all be-all of flash game nirvana.
