Paramount has released the newest trailer for Michael Bay‘s Transformers: The Last Knight. The film is the fifth installment of the franchise. It is also the fifth and final Transformers film to be directed by Bay, who has been with the franchise since 2007.

Not to anyone’s surprise, but there is hardly anything resembling a story in this trailer, and there probably won’t be one in the film. There will, however, be plenty of Bayhem, with a few characters returning to the series plus one more new one that isn’t afraid of these mechanical creatures, no matter the size difference. It’s hard to believe that we’ve only gotten two trailers for The Fate of the Furious so far. Universal has just released the second one today (watch the first here), and if you thought you’ve seen everything in this franchise, well, the new trailer shatters that notion with a torpedo and a few missiles.

Yes, now the family will have to contend with military weaponry. Tanks were one thing, but a submarine is something that they will have to survive if they want to rescue Dom (Vin Diesel). Check out the newest trailer below.

Michael Bay has somewhat of a reputation for not committing to ending his tenure as a Transformers director. In fact, he has been on the fence about it before. But with Transformers: The Last Knight hitting theaters this summer, it appears that this will, in fact be Bay’s last Transformers film. The director recently took to his personal website to post a letter to all of his fans, confirming that he will be leaving the Transformers franchise after The Last Knight.

Universal Pictures has released the Super Bowl spot for their upcoming sequel The Fate of the Furious, starring Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Kurt Russell, and many more.
