‘Bad Boys For Life’ Trailer: Will Smith and Martin Lawrence Return For More Bayhem Minus The Michael Bay

Okay, Bad Boys For Life, the long overdue capper to the Bad Boys trilogy will finally be arriving early next year, and Sony Pictures Entertainment has just released the first trailer.
The film reunites Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in a film about two reckless cops. While Michael Bay helmed the first two, the director is sitting this one out, leaving Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah to fill the Bayhem void. And judging by the looks of this trailer, there are plenty of expensive cars, Smith and Lawrence banter, slow-motion gun shooting, and goofy dialogue. Check out the trailer below.

Grease was the word tonight as Grease Live! hit television screens from 7:00-10:00pm ET on FOX. Live shows are all the rage nowadays, trending the instant they are on. This version combines both the musical and film version from the 70s. We know the story (and songs) by heart – good girl Sandy and greaser Danny Zuko have a summer beach romance. But romance goes awry when they “accidentally” run into each other at the same school. Danny has a rep to protect, and Sandy is shy and a goody-two shoes. But somehow, by meeting somewhere in the middle, they realize they “go together.”

‘Freaks Of Nature’ Red Band Trailer: Zombies and Vampires and Aliens… Oh, My!

Sony Pictures has released a red band trailer for a new horror comedy from director Robbie Pickering (Natural Selection) titled Freaks of Nature. The movie just sort of appeared out of nowhere and, believe it or not, you’ll be able to watch it very soon when it gets released in limited theaters and video on demand services on October 30th.
The movie is set in a town in which vampires, humans, and zombies actually live together…and do so peacefully. That is, until aliens show up one day and ruin everything for everyone. It stars Nicholas Braun, Mackenzie Davis, Josh Fadem, Denis Leary, Bob Odenkirk, Keegan-Michael Key, Ed Westwick, Vanessa Hudgens, Patton Oswalt, and Ian Roberts.
You can read more about Freaks of Nature and watch the trailer below. Again, this is a red band trailer, so a NSFW warning is in effect.

Ay Dios Mio! El Primer Trailer De ‘Machete Kills’ Está AquÃ!

Hola queridos lectores! That means, “Hello dear readers.” Gotta special little treat for you today. The first trailer for Machete Kills is now live and in full, lurid color.
You can check it out here below.
Director Robert Rodriguez and Danny Trejo introduce the trailer in Spanish and the narrator speaks the same language throughout the trailer, but fret not you proud hablantes de inglés because the rest of the trailer doesn’t require a Babel fish in your ear to understand. It’s a surprisingly bloodless preview, but Rodriguez is still bringing the crazy like gangbusters. A little violence here, some very pretty women there, and it’s all rounded off by a special appearance by Charlie Sheen as the President of the United States. He’s credited as “Carlos Estevez,” which all of you trivia buffs will recognize as Sheen’s birth name.

SXSW 2013 Review: Harmony Korine’s ‘Spring Breakers’

Spring Breakers
Director: Harmony Korine
Screenwriter: Harmony Korine
Cast: James Franco, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine, Gucci Mane
“Pretend like it’s a video game…”
Holy. Shit. Throw Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers and Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive into a blender with ice and add a few gallons of bottom shelf booze and you’ve got the cinematic mindfuck that is Harmony Korine‘s Spring Breakers.
No offense to Fede Alvarez’s Evil Dead, but Spring Breakers felt like the real “event” film of the festival this year. Korine’s dangerous, hypnotic cocktail of self-indulgence is a shallow study of shallow things.

‘Spring Breakers’ Red-Band Trailer: Crime Pays As Long As You’re With James Franco
|
 |

A new international red-band trailer for Harmony Korine‘s Spring Breakers had debuted online. Check out the new trailer here below.
Spring Breakers centers on four young college girls (Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine) who rob a liquor store so that they can experience Spring Break in MTV fashion. After being apprehended by the authorities, a sleazy rapper named Alien (James Franco) bails them out and promises to keep the party going just as long as they use the very talents that got them in trouble in the first place.
This new trailer doesn’t offer too much, if anything the first trailer one set the bar pretty high. There are a couple of scenes where drug use, vulgar language, and violence is more prevalent than its predecessor, but I suspect that they are saving the best for the full film. Let’s not forget the fact that there’s sex in this film too, as the movie is set during Spring Break after all.
