| ‘Booksmart’ Trailer: Olivia Wilde Makes One Hilariously Wicked Directorial Debut
Annapurna Pictures has released the first trailer for Booksmart, a new comedy that marks Olivia Wilde‘s directorial debut. In it, Beanie Feldstein (Lady Bird) and Kaitlyn Dever (Short Term 12) play a pair of best friends who make a promise to make a name for themselves in the last days of high school when they realize that after all the time and effort they have put in to prep for college, the same troublemaking kids are getting into those same colleges as well. The film has already made its feature debut this month at SXSW, where it was met with rave reviews. Check out the trailer here below.

Seth Rogen‘s Superbad really knew what it was like for an innocent outside kid to try hard to desperately fit in by engaging in illicit and illegal activity. But things are a little bit different in Good Boys, his new produced raunchy comedy featuring Room‘s Jacob Tremblay as the lead of a trio of kids, who probably can’t reach the height requirements for a roller coaster, who will try to get into a kissing party. | ‘MacGruber’ May Find New Life As A TV Show
Remember MacGruber, the SNL spinoff film starring Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Val Kilmer, Ryan Phillippe, and Maya Rudolph that was a huge flop at the box office but went on to become a cult classic? While there have been attempts to revive the film with a sequel, it looks like the comedy based on the satirical version of MacGyver may instead live on as a television series. MacGruber director Jorma Taccone confirms that talks are happening, and it looks like everyone who was in the original film may be involved in the TV series. More on the report below.
