1988’s Twins is one of many guilty pleasures born of the ’80s that plenty of people have seen and enjoyed for what it is. It’s not a movie, however, that anyone ever expected to see a sequel for. But we should all be familiar with the times we currently live in, and now, over two decades later, a sequel to Twins might just be heading our way. And what’s even more unexpected? It appears as though the hopes for said sequel is to have Eddie Murphy play the third brother to the original’s oddball twins, returning stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.

| Warner Bros. Unveils The Official ‘Man of Steel’ Logo
Other than an image released last year of Henry Cavill looking mighty Kryptonian, there hasn’t been much seen on the promotional front for Man of Steel, the Zack Snyder-directed reboot of the Superman movie franchise. Now, Warner Bros. has released the film’s official logo. You can check out the image here below. While there will probably never be a better Superman movie in my lifetime than the 1978 epic original directed by Richard Donner that cast the late Christopher Reeve in the role that would come to define his career (and in a sense his life), I am looking forward to seeing how Snyder, co-writers David Goyer and Jonathan Nolan, producer Christopher Nolan, and their amazing cast attempt to make the Last Son of Krypton a 21st century badass to compete on the big screen with his DC brother Batman and the Mighty Marvel Movie Bullpen.

| ‘Mars Attacks’ Musical Coming To Broadway [Updated]
Mars Attacks, the famous science-fiction trading card set, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. And in doing so, its original creator and licensor Topps, one of the biggest companies of trading cards in the world, is partnering with comic book publishers IDW to take on a massive venture, taking the aliens attacks Earth story that it’s based on to Broadway as a musical. This big-budget musical, entitled Mars Attacks: 21st Century Slaughter, is to be written and produced by comic book veteran John Layman (Chew, Marvel Zombies vs. The Army of Darkness). In a statement released by Topps and IDW, Layman describes the undertaking of this project as an upbeat, sci-fi version of West Side Story. He also went on to say that like any good Broadway show, there will be catchy songs as well in the production.
