It’s no secret that fans have been clamoring for a good R-rated Deadpool movie for a while now, and while Marvel Studios has still not officially announced such a movie, Deadpool himself was on hand at Comic-Con to announce something else: a brand new video game based on the hit Marvel superhero.
The game, which will of course be titled Deadpool, comes from Activision and is being developed by High Moon Studios. It appears to be a 3rd-person game that will focus primarily on the Merc with the Mouth’s sense of humor and affinity for violence in hopes of “scratching that itch” fans might have.
You can check out the very entertaining reveal trailer for Deadpool below now.
What’s even better, is that the great Nolan North has returned to voice Deadpool for the game. North provided the voice for Ultimate Deadpool in his appearance in the Spider-Man game Shattered Dimensions, but is best known as the voice of Desmond Miles in the Assassin’s Creed games, and, of course, as Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series.
