The countdown is on to the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special – but before we enter The Day of the Doctor, Paul McGann makes his triumphant return as the Eighth Doctor in the Steven Moffat-penned minisode, The Night of The Doctor.
During TARDISblend 69, we discuss our thoughts as we review the prequel to the 50th anniversary special – and also to give you a round up on the rumors and news surrounding the upcoming special, highlighting what to expect, and what may be yet to come!

Great to hear you guys back on track ;) and here we are on the eve of what plans to be a FANTASTIC weekend in the Whoniverse.
I’m trying so hard to keep away from the spoilers but if the latest unlocked video on the “Save the Day” site, Clara’s entrance into TARDIS, on a motorbike was WOW!!! So if that is anything to go by, we are in for a massive treat.
Yes I will put my self through wearing 3D glasses for an hour and a half (headache alert!) and as they say here in Scotland, I cannie wait. So much for not getting a Doctor movie ;) Worldwide multicast! how cool is that, so we all get Who-high together.
I hope you enjoy the whole lot of broadcasts as much as I am. I look forward to hearing your opinions next week. Stay happy.
