The Doctor Who Christmas special Time of the Doctor is still a few days away, set to air Christmas, but the BBC has released a preview clip from the episode to help pass the time.

Anyone’s who’s been paying attention to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy knows that Vin Diesel was brought in for a role, and it eventually became quite apparent that he would be voicing the character Groot.

But after all this time, it’s finally being officially confirmed that Diesel is in fact voicing Groot, a tree-like being with only one line of dialogue.

The upcoming movie I, Frankenstein, has some new promotional material out including the final theatrical poster and an interactive website. The movie continues the gothic action-horror trends of the Underworld series and Van Helsing as it brings Frankenstein’s creation into the modern world.

If you were looking forward to seeing True Blood star Anna Paquin reprise her role as Rogue in the upcoming X-Men: First Class sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past, there’s a bit of bad news.

As it turns out, Paquin only shot one scene for the movie—a rescue sequence featuring Rogue, Iceman (Shawn Ashmore), and best buddies Magneto (Ian McKellen) and Professor X (Patrick Stewart). In the end, director Bryan Singer simply had too much good content (never a bad thing), and had to sacrifice the scene.
