| ‘Halloween,’ ‘X-Men’ Star Tyler Mane Needs Last-Minute Help Making Horror ‘Penance Lane’ Made
If you’re looking to spread a little Christmas cheer this holiday season, one place to look is the various crowdfunding websites. One project worth looking at is on Indiegogo and comes from Tyler Mane, who starred as Michael Myers in Rob Zombie’s Halloween remake and its sequel as well as movies like X-Men, Troy, and The Scorpion King, and his production banner Mane Entertainment. The movie is titled Penance Lane, and also stars Mane. Unfortunately the crowdfunding campaign is still far from reaching its $100,000 goal (currently at $33,362), and has very little time with under 40 hours left to go. With the coming start of the tenure of Peter Capaldi as the 12th actor to the role of the Doctor in a few days, it is a good time to re-visit one of the controversies of the process that chose him.
