HBO is solidifying their upcoming schedule, with the announcement of various start dates for both returning and new shows.
Of the many shows they’ve set dates for, the big one is of course season four of Game of Thrones. We’ve all known that it would premiere sometime in late March or early April. This is now confirmed with word that the fourth season will indeed begin on Sunday, April 6th at 9 p.m. EST.
Other returning shows that HBO has set dates for are Veep and Vice. Vice returns for its second season March 14th at 11 p.m. EST, while Veep returns for its third season the same night as Game of Thrones at 10 p.m. EST.
Lastly, newcomer to the HBO lineup Silicon Valley will also make its debut on April 6th following Thrones and Veep at 10:30 p.m. EST. The show comes from Office Space director and Beavis and Butt-Head and King of the Hill creator Mike Judge. It follows the high-tech gold rush of Silicon Valley, inspired partially by Judge’s own experiences as an engineer in the ’80s.
