Destiny Image

Week after week, the dedicated Destiny players look forward to a visit from the lovable Agent of the Nine, Xur. And week after week, the second most disappointing vendor in all of gaming delivers another failtacular selection that doesn’t include a Gjallorhorn. Looks like a good week to hang on to your coins in my opinion, unless you wanna stock up on Heavy Ammo Synthesis.

FOX has released a new full-length trailer for Gotham 1.17 “Red Hood”, and it is going to get you ready for the end of this wild journey of a season. Goatwhore Band Photo

New Orleans’ blackened thrash band Goatwhore arose from the ashes of two of that city’s most legendary bands. When Acid Bath broke up, guitarist Sammy Duet hooked up with former Soilent Green singer Ben Falgoust, guitarist Ben Stout, bassist Patrick Bruders, and drummer Zak Nolan. They took their moniker from an Aleister Crowley ritual involving goat semen (don’t ask!). Over the course of the last 18 years, Goatwhore has delivered 6 albums of the most brutal black thrash ever conceived. The band’s unrelenting assault both live and on record has garnered them a rabid following that continues to grow.

Here, with the opening track of their fourth album, 2009’s Carving Out the Eyes of God, is Goatwhore with their anthem “Apocalyptic Havoc.”

J.J. Abrams With Star Wars: The Force Awakens X-Wing

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is 10 months away from its December 18 release, and though production is already completed, we are still no closer to knowing what the film is about. Besides the teaser trailer released back in November; the extremely short character bios with the online trading cards; and that ball droid BB-8 is a practical Effect, most of what we think we know about the Star Wars sequel is based on the many rumors and supposed spoilers that have surfaced online. Now, director J.J. Abrams is coming out to say that “some” of the rumors are true.

In a recent interview, Abrams addresses those spoilers and understands why some people may read them. Hit the jump for the quotes.
