This past week has seen huge developments for the DC Cinematic Universe. We learned that Patty Jenkins will direct Wonder Woman and also that Zack Snyder would be releasing the first footage of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on Thursday, with the trailer hitting the web on Monday, with 15 minutes of footage from the film at IMAX locations on the same night. It was originally reported that we would be seeing a small tease of the teaser during Star Wars Celebration, but if you are a fan of these DC films, Christmas has come early because Snyder has just revealed that early footage online tonight.
Check out the teaser video here below.
Snyder posted the first look on his Twitter account, which you can see below.
As all teasers for the teaser trailers do (yes, that’s a thing now), we don’t get to see a whole lot of footage. In fact, the only thing we get to see are the superhero costumes on mannequins. Though it is our best look at the Batman suit we have seen since the various photos have been released.
Hopefully, by the time the trailer hits the web, we will actually get a film synopsis. Although, based on what we have seen through promotional photos and small teasers, the film could be based on The Dark Knight Returns story.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons, and Jason Momoa. It opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.
