Release Date: May 1, 2015 “And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth’s mightiest heroes were united against a common threat! On that day The Avengers were born “” to fight foes no single hero could withstand!” Written and directed by Joss Whedon, Avengers: Age of Ultron is the latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As the fifth entry in Marvel’s second phase of films, Ultron follows the events of Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: Winter Soldier, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Our heroes have changed since the first time they assembled; S.H.I.E.L.D. is no more, Hydra has possession of Loki’s scepter, and the universe hangs in the balance as Thanos hunts down the Infinity Stones. Age of Ultron begins with a raid on a Hydra outpost. After recovering some Chitauri technology from the base, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) jumpstarts ULTRON, a global defense program that will act as “a suit of armor around the world.” Things go terribly wrong, of course, and The Avengers – Iron Man, Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) – must reassemble to save the planet from the villainous Ultron (James Spader).

Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment have released the first trailer for Breck Eisner‘s The Last Witch Hunter, starring Vin Diesel as the titular character, who is tasked with preventing a coven of witches from unleashing a plague on New York City. Based on the trailer, the film looks like a culmination of Underworld, Blade, I, Frankenstein, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, and other contemporary supernatural hunter films. That being said, there is no reason to believe that this could not be any fun to watch. After all he will be joined by Julie Engelbrecht, Elijah Wood, Michael Caine, and Rose Leslie. Check out the trailer below.

Joss Whedon became an executive creative consultant after The Avengers became a hit. His input on the Phase 2 films helped crafted the current Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even though Avengers: Age of Ultron is his final film, Marvel has expanded to TV with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, and the Netflix deal. That Netflix deal would see Daredevil, AKA Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist have their own series before coming together for a Defenders series. But Daredevil almost wasn’t a TV show, in fact, thanks to Whedon, it was almost a movie. The director was actually pushing for a movie, and called the character “Marvel’s Batman.” More on this below.

James Wan is a director who is in high demand. The Conjuring solidified his name in the horror genre, while Furious 7 showed that he doesn’t pigeonhole himself. Now it looks like he may take stab at the sci-fi genre with Sony’s Robotech. Back in February, WB revived the project by obtaining the rights to the film. However, the rights moved over to Sony. Gianni Nunnari and Mark Canton (300, The Immortals) will produce the film, while Michael Gordon (300, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) is writing the script.

Comical Psychosomatic Medicine, or Anime de Wakaru Shinryonaika, is a joyous romp through the world of mental disorders, from erectile dysfunction and voyeurism to panic attacks and anxiety disorder. At the Yuu Mental Clinic, psychologist Ryou Shinnai and staff nurse Asuna Kangoshi tackle a variety of mental disorders. Asuna generally plays comic foil to Dr. Shinnai’s attempts to explain the various maladies, and of course, things get out of hand with puns on terms such as “cognitive impairment” (Asuna pictures her grandfather surrounded by girls trying to get him to admit he’s the father of their children) and “rem sleep” (Asuna imagines “harem sleep” with her granddad dreaming about being surrounded by a harem of girls).
