| SDCC 2015: Vin Diesel In New ‘The Last Witch Hunter’ Posters
It’s the first full day of Comic-Con, and studios will be out in full force releasing all sorts of promotion to push their films, and amp up excitement in anticipation for their release. Today, Lionsgate will take over Hall H, and they are starting things a little early by releasing two new posters for The Last Witch Hunter starring Vin Diesel. These two posters feature two different iterations of Vin Diesel’s character, one representing his past self in the film, while the other is a modern-day version of the character, Kaulder. | ‘The Last Witch Hunter’ Trailer: Vin Diesel Saves New York From A Witch Plague
Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment have released the first trailer for Breck Eisner‘s The Last Witch Hunter, starring Vin Diesel as the titular character, who is tasked with preventing a coven of witches from unleashing a plague on New York City. Based on the trailer, the film looks like a culmination of Underworld, Blade, I, Frankenstein, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, and other contemporary supernatural hunter films. That being said, there is no reason to believe that this could not be any fun to watch. After all he will be joined by Julie Engelbrecht, Elijah Wood, Michael Caine, and Rose Leslie. | Johnny Depp To Portray Harry Houdini As America’s First Superhero
In January, Johnny Depp was rumored to play Dr. Strange for Marvel Studios. The rumor didn’t pan out as some would have hoped, but it may have sparked an interest in the actor playing another magical hero of sorts. The actor is in talks to play Harry Houdini in Lionsgate/Summit’s The Secret Life of Houdini: The Making of America’s First Superhero.
