The opening dream scene in the meadow gets me every time as Bella sees herself as old with Edward. I think it is a beautiful concept as Bella (Kristen Stewart) worries about aging while her true vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson) stays forever young at seventeen, and will not turn her. It’s Bella’s birthday, and as much as she “doth” protests, everyone reminds her of the celebrating. She really doesn’t get Edward’s attitude, until her disastrous birthday party at the Cullens where she almost becomes dessert that Carlisle (Peter Facinelli) explains it all to her.

Full Trailer For Zach Braff’s ‘Wish I Was Here’ Released

Last month we saw the first trailer for Wish I Was Here, Zach Braff‘s second effort as director after Garden State and the movie which he somewhat controversially got help in making by using the crowdfunding website Kickstarter. That first trailer was more of a teaser, but now the first official full trailer has been released online.
Whether you’re bothered by Braff’s strategy in making the movie or not, it’s hard not to feel good things watching these trailers.
You can check out the full trailer for Wish I Was Here below.

First Trailer For ‘Wish I Was Here,’ Zach Braff’s ‘Garden State’ Follow-Up

Zach Braff‘s long-awaited directorial follow-up to his 2004 hit Garden State, Wish I Was Here, has traveled an interesting road. Braff took to Kickstarter to fund the movie—and had much success in doing so—but faced some backlash from those who felt someone of his status shouldn’t be seeking the donations of fans to finance a project.
With all of that in the past, the movie has been made and had a strong showing at the Sundance Film Festival before being picked up by Focus Features for distribution in North America. Now the first teaser trailer for Wish I Was Here has been released, and can be seen below.

Trailer For The Upcoming Film ‘CBGB’ Starring Alan Rickman Released
|
 |

The trailer for the upcoming biopic CBGB, based on the legendary NYC venue which became a musical landmark and showcased many first wave punk bands like The Ramones, Blondie, The Dead Boys, Television, and The Talking Heads, has been released online.
The movie stars Alan Rickman almost unrecognizable as the late bushy haired, paunchy club owner Hilly Kristal. Kristal, who started the club in the early 1970s first a Country, Bluegrass, and Blues establishment (hence the abbreviated of sorts moniker CBGB) and wound up taking on some of the disenfranchised bands and alienated youth of NYC and burgeoning states, showcasing them, in some cases even managing them, and unexpectedly created a revolution in noise that at peak level, became one of the most notorious, liberating, and stark white honest musical genres ever to rear its head in music history. The name affixed to this somewhat new genre of sound was punk.
Check out the trailer below.

It’s Official: ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ Will Be Two Movies

If you’ve been following the progress of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn at all, you know it’s been long-expected and long-assumed that the final chapter to the film series would be split into two films.
The move was expected as it would be in an attempt to cover as much of the story’s details as possible and of course to pile as much cash into the bank as they possibly could before the franchise’s end.
In a press release put out by Summit Entertainment today, it was finally made official: Breaking Dawn will indeed be a two-part movie. The film will go into production some time this fall, and the first of these two movies will be released in November of 2011.

‘Twilight’ Holdouts Ashley Greene & Kellan Lutz Confirmed For ‘Breaking Dawn’
|
 |

Recently it was reported that because Summit Entertainment had not decided earlier that their final movie in the Twilight franchise, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, would be split into two movies and because their actors had become stars, talents like Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz were holding out in hopes of pulling in a much bigger payday (Read: Will ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ Re-Cast Cullen Kids Ashley Greene & Kellan Lutz?). It was also for this reason that the assumed-two-part film had not been made “official” yet, even though there was little doubt that all cast members would eventually rejoin the three main stars.
In a press release put out by Summit, the studio announced the return of the entire Cullen family, including Greene, Lutz, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, and Elizabeth Reaser. The release pointed out that the actors have joined Billy Burke, who plays Charlie Swan. Three new posters were also released for the next film in the series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, one of which can seen to the right.

Will ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ Re-Cast Cullen Kids Ashley Greene & Kellan Lutz?
|
 |

When it comes to the sequels in a juggernaut franchise, it’s only a matter of time before money becomes the main focus of the talent involved, and complications develop.
And so it begins.
As you all know, Summit Entertainment wants to split the final movie in their series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, into two parts so that they can cover more of the story and of course, so that they can add a few hundred-million dollars more to their bank account. But why has this two-part movie always been “hoped” for and not an official decision? Money, naturally.
When Twilight was first being made it had a big following behind the books, but the movie didn’t have a massive budget and its stars, who were signed on for a possible three films if the first did well, did not get paid a lot of money. The movie went on to pull in insane box office numbers, instantly creating a worldwide phenomenon and solidifying the birth of a franchise instead of just one film. This also lead Summit to smartly re-enter into negotiations with their stars to lock them up for a last movie based on the fourth book from author Stephenie Meyer.
