It was another long night waiting outside on line for fans at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, but the payoff was the first look at the new full-length trailer for WB’s Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Now that trailer has been officially released online — watch it here below!!!

Director Zack Snyder, along with stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams were on today’s panel, where the studio also revealed some exclusive Comic-Con art:

Our troops were on the ground at Hall H today to see the trailer debut. Here’s some details from the panel:

Jesse Eisenberg says he has a real grounded emotion to his Lex Luthor, and his version won’t be as campy as previous iterations.

Amy Adams said she wanted to be Lois Lane since she was 5, adding that she watched Superman II over and over again. She was open and willing to bring a modern take on a strong women, who has emotional intelligence and vulnerability.

Henry Cavill said he drew from the canon and tried to build the character of Superman as much as he could in Man of Steel.

Ben Affleck said the difference between his Batman and the ones of Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and Christian Bale is that this new Batman is at end of his rope, he’s a burnout. He said Snyder took him and “was astonished,” said it was exactly what the director pitched to him. He referenced Halloween shopping for his kid, who said he met Christian Bale coincidentally, and Affleck asked about tips, to which Bale replied, “Make sure you can piss in that suit.”

The idea behind Batman’s mech suit that it is not so much a mech suit than it enhances his strength, but one that “is biding his time.”

Snyder reaffirms that the idea started when they thought about would what would be cool to see in a sequel.

Jeremy Iron says his Alfred “followed the boss,” but is also someone who “tried to make him grow up a little.”

Gal Gadot said she was given the opportunity to show a strong beautiful woman. But her alter ego was very sophisticated and very beautiful.

Be sure to keep it here at Geeks Of Doom all weekend for our coverage of SDCC 2015.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

“Black and blue. God vs. man. Day vs. night.”
