Last week on Colony, we saw Will and Katie Bowman (Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies) working on opposite sides – Will as a Collaborator, and Katie as part of the Resistance. Will gained a new partner in the form of Beau (Carl Weathers). They have to find the man responsible for the blast. Meanwhile, his friend was grabbed and brought to the factory, where a weird shining light washed over him and the other detainees. I’m still not sure what happened. Will and Katie managed to whisk his wife and son to safety. Katie starts readying her old bar to open.

Spoilers below.

Colony 1.3 “98 Seconds” review: It is Day 341 of the Occupation and Geronimo makes a broadcast that the redhats are too late to intercept. He’s quite good at the speechifying. I’m ready to join. Meanwhile, Katie goes on her 1st mission, and sees how real and bloody and cold her side is. A young man, a kid really is killed, plus a bunch of other civilians.

She is so freaked, she grabs Will and they have a crazy sexy shower scene. Then she shuts him out, so he is super confused. She later blames it on missing her son.

He is called away to the scene of the slaughter.

The son is in cahoots with his teacher. They have a convo about space and UFOs. It’s Warren from Buffy! Warren!

The Occupation takes away Justin Kim’s (the young man) parents. Will comes home and shares that story, begging her to confide in him.She doesn’t and is horrified.

The son is dragged somewhere by his crush. Apparently her and her cousin have been stealing stuff from the other side through an underground tunnel. There’s no people there.

The babysitter is super creepy.

Will’s team hit the Resistance armory. A warning was sent to Katie. Will is either an asset or a hazard. They will kill him if she doesn’t get some good inute;/

The bar is open and the pace is hoppin. Two people visit – his partner Beau and Snyder. The partner is fun and charming to Katie. Snyder puts a damper on the evening.

Katie wants Will out.

These supporting characters are getting much more interesting. I’m glad we saw Snyder because his weirdness is fascinating. I really hope that Katie’s lies come out in the open. I don’t like Will not knowing. I know he will understand, but not if she continues this much longer.

Colony airs Thursday nights at 10pm ET on the USA Network.
