Team building exercises can be the worst. But James Gunn has found a way to make it just a little bit entertaining by turning those team building exercises into a bloody, twisted game of survival in The Belko Experiment.
While the filmmaker was too busy working on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to direct it himself, he handed over his script to director Greg McLean (Wolf Creek). Now we are finally getting our first look at the film in an all-new trailer. Check it out below.
The Belko Experiment made its debut at Midnight Madness at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year. While the film was well-received, most agreed that it was far from original. However, if you are in the mood for acts of brutality, then you might want to check this film out.
Just imagine what it would be like if The Hunger Games took place in the world of Office Space where it was a battle for survival against your fellow cube mates. The potential is there, so it should be interesting to see how it plays with a general audience.
The movie stars John Gallagher Jr., Tony Goldwyn, Adria Arjona, John C. McGinley, Josh Brener, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, and Melonie Diaz.
Here’s the official synopsis:
The Belko Experiment explores a twisted social experiment, in which a group of 80 Americans are locked in their high-rise corporate office in Bogata and ordered by an unknown voice on an intercom system to participate in a deadly game of kill or be killed. It stars 10 Cloverfield Lane”˜s John Gallagher Jr., Scandal”˜s Tony Goldwyn, True Detective”˜s Adria Arjona, John C. McGinley, Silicon Valley”˜s Josh Brener, Guardians of the Galaxy”˜s Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn and Melonie Diaz, who co-starred in Fruitvale Station.
The Belko Experiment opens in theaters on March 17, 2017.
