In case you missed it the first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series was released recently.

The title is an upcoming episodic point-and-click game series based on the Marvel characters from the maker of The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and Tales from the Borderlands games. A release date for the first episode, titled “Tangled up in Blue,” was also revealed recently.

In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of the Guardians has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands. From Earth to the Milano to Knowhere and beyond, this five-part episodic series puts you in the rocket-powered boots of Star-Lord in an original Guardians adventure.

The first episode of the five episode season of Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will be released on April 18th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android, and will cost $4.99.

A season pass physical disc will also be released, which will include the first episode on the disc and the ability to download the remaining four episodes when they are released. The season pass disc will first be released in North America on May 2nd, with releases around the rest of the world beginning on May 5th.
