| Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman Contract Includes ‘Justice League’ and Solo Film
Last month news was finally made public that Israeli actress Gal Gadot had been signed on to play Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder’s upcoming sequel to Man of Steel. It has now been revealed that Gadot received a three-picture deal to play the superhero as part of that signing contract. On the Israeli news show Good Evening With Gai Pines, Gadot revealed the three-picture deal would have her play Wonder Woman not only in the still untitled Batman vs Superman movie, but also in a Justice League movie and a standalone Wonder Woman movie.

| DC Comics Goes Steampunk In February With ‘New 52’ Variant Covers
In February 2014, DC Comics will be bringing the increasingly popular sci-fi subgenre, steampunk, to their New 52 lineup in the form of variant covers. The covers will span their most popular titles from Action Comics and Batman to Justice League and Wonder Woman. A collection of artists including Dave Johnson and Klaus Janson will be providing the covers. The covers will feature all the trademarks of steampunk, which is a sci-fi subgenre that is generally set in an alternate Victorian era where steam and clockwork have become the predominant technology. These covers feature it all – from dirigibles and steam-powered machines to cog-driven robots and brass button covered apparel. So, so many brass buttons! | 2014 Razzie Nominations Announced; ‘The Lone Ranger,’ ‘A Medea Christmas’, ‘Grown Ups 2’ Get Nods
As is tradition, the 2014 Razzie nominations were announced today just ahead of the Oscar nominations, which will be announced tomorrow. The 34th annual celebration of the year’s worst movies, directors, actors, and actresses highlights some of great missteps Hollywood has taken this past year, and boy are there some big ones. The list includes oft-repeating nominees for the annual spectacle, including Adam Sandler, Tyler Perry, Lindsay Lohan, and Sylvester Stallone, who has received his 31st acting nomination for a trio of performances this year.
