Okay, first off, if I have to try to convince you to buy a comic that contains eight premiere issues for a measly six bucks then I might just have to reassess what I am doing here.

I have reviewed any number of these titles at different times and I cannot even begin to stress to you how great of a deal this is. Dark Horse Comics continues to amaze me with their marketing strategies. I can think of no better way to test out some new comics than with this compilation. Folks, I present to you Dark Horse Number Ones!

World Of Warcraft Chronicle, Vol. 2 Preview

World Of Warcraft Chronicle, Vol. 2
Hardcover
By Chris Metzen, Matt Burns, Robert Brooks, Peter Lee
Publisher: Dark Horse Comics
Release Date: March 14, 2017

While there have been tons of video games over the years with deep lore and history, few can lay claim to the size and mass of Blizzard Entertainment’s Warcraft universe. Last year, we were given a deeper look into the history of the game’s world Azeroth with World of Warcraft Chronicles: Volume 1.

Now, Blizzard Entertainment and Dark Horse Publishing are getting ready to dive back in with World of Warcraft Chronicles: Volume 2. While there have been many novels and comics to spawn from the rich history of Warcraft, retired creative director and father of Warcraft lore Chris Metzen with the Chronicle series gives us a more revealing peek into the lore from the man himself. Volume Two like before will also feature art by fan favorites Peter Lee, Joseph Lacroix, and Alex Horley. Metzen is joined once again by Matt Burns and Robert Brooks in authoring.

Ash vs The Army of Darkness 00 Cover A Bradshaw banner

I think if you told Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell back in the late 70s that the uber low-budget horror film they were working on would still be relevant to pop culture four decades later, they would’ve probably turned the blood hose on you. But alas, the allure of Ashley J. Williams and is just too strong. Thirty-six years after the original Evil Dead film and 30 years after its classic sequel Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn, and 25 years after its ridiculous horror-comedy third installment Army of Darkness, Ash is still trucking along killing deadites and fighting the Necronomicon on Starz network’s Ash vs Evil Dead, which was renewed for a third season. Since 2004, Dynamite Entertainment has been the home of the Ash vs. The Army of Darkness comic book series, so in honor of Army Of Darkness‘s silver anniversary, Dynamite is releasing a special all-new series starting with a #0 issue at the “S–Mart Special” price of only $0.99.
