In the holiday comedy, Anna Kendrick stars as Noelle Claus, the daughter of Santa Claus, and Bill Hader as Nick, her brother and heir to the Santa title.

We got a first-hand look at the film at the D23 Expo on Friday in the form of the first trailer, which demonstrates that the new live-action version promises to be just as adorable as it is romantic. The Mandalorian Star Wars

There has never been live-action Star Wars television series. But come November, that will all change when The Mandalorian will debut along with a number of other original shows on Disney+, Disney’s exclusive streaming service. This will be one of Disney’s flagship shows that can only be seen on Disney+, and the studio hopes to use all of that anticipation and excitement to draw subscribers to their service.

Star Wars fans got a first look at The Mandalorian earlier this year when showrunner and executive producer Jon Favreau presented some footage and shared some info about the show. Now he’s back, with the debut of the teaser trailer; plus, and he brought along some of the cast to the D23 Expo today to show off what they can expect to see.

Watch the teaser trailer here below.

Of course, all those problems seemed to resolve themselves when Egypt-born, Canada-raised Mena Massoud, and Power RangersNaomi Scott were cast as Aladdin and Princess Jasmine. Pixar logo characters

It really wouldn’t be much of a D23 Expo without the animation studio making a few new announcements. One of those announcements was from Pixar. During the presentation, Pixar head John Lasseter announced an all-new original project from Dan Scanlon (Monsters University) that takes some inspiration from his life story of losing his father at an early age.

The still-untitled film is set in a modern fantasy world where magic used to be a part of life. But because it was hard to do and very complicated, the people lost interest and soon technology took its place. This world is filled with elves, trolls, and sprites, which is something you would see on the side of a 70s van, commented Scanlon. Here, unicorns are basically like rodents who run amuck and scurry across the streets.
