Daniel Craig Offered $150 Million To Play James Bond Again

Daniel Craig as James Bond

Daniel Craig has played the role of James Bond for four films and nearly a decade now. Some might say he’s batting .500 considering that Casino Royale and Skyfall were much better received than Quantum of Solace and Spectre. But now that the distribution rights to James Bond are up in the air, and it is unclear where the franchise can go from here.

However, it seems that whoever gets the rights might not have to look too far for a new actor to play the role as it has been reported that Craig has been offered north of $150 million to come back and play the role. But will he take it, and what happens if he doesn’t? More on the story below.

List Of Rumored ‘Suicide Squad’ Cuts Reveals Missing Exposition and More

Suicide Squad Review

Warner Bros. has every reason to celebrate Suicide Squad‘s record-breaking numbers at the box office. In its first weekend, it pulled in $135 million, and that is nothing to scoff at, even with critics widely panning the film – and it seems that bad word of mouth travels fast as Suicide Squad‘s box office saw a 40% Saturday drop, and additional 20% drop on Sunday. Many criticized the film for its poor editing and pacing, and judging by star Jared Leto‘s comments on how much Joker footage was left out of the final cut, there seems to be some truth to the rumors that Warner Bros and Trailer Park (a company that helps cut together movie trailers) reworked David Ayer‘s somber-toned version and turned it into something more fun.

Now a rumored list of what was cut has been revealed, and it shows that there may have been key exposition scenes removed from the final product. Deleted scenes reportedly include Captain Boomerang’s (Jai Courtney) interaction with Katana (Karen Fukuhara); Joker’s mission to “rescue” Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie); a fight between Deadshot (Will Smith) and Enchantress (Cara Delevingne); and another scene with The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Captain Boomerang. Check out the list here below.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

It really wouldn’t be much of a Comic-Con without a few rumors floating around, and there will be plenty this year with Warner Bros. preparing to showcase their upcoming DCEU films at Hall H this year. Oddly enough, this rumor doesn’t surround Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, or even the upcoming Justice League, which is currently shooting. No, this rumor centers on the untitled Batman solo flick starring Ben Affleck, which is currently under development.

With Affleck and Geoff Johns currently penning the script, and fans waiting to hear whether or not if the former will direct, many of the plot points that have been circulating have been nothing but rumor and speculation. But that isn’t stopping any of us from enjoying it all, especially since this latest rumor is just too good to ignore. Word is that the next solo Batman film will take place in Arkham Asylum. If you have been following these rumors, then it makes sense. More on the story below.

Disney In Depth: ‘Wreck-It Ralph 2’ To Nail It!

Disney In Depth Banner

Stop the digital presses! A Wreck-It Ralph sequel has been officially announced, although ever since John C. Reilly hinted at a sequel in development, everyone has just been waiting for word from the Mouse House itself.

Now it is actually happening. The Walt Disney Animation Studios film, to debut on March 9, 2018 – thus supplanting the previously scheduled Jack and the Beanstalk adaptation called Gigantic, to premiere in November 2018 – will see the return of Ralph, Vanellope, and many more. Will the sequel destroy the competition, proving to naysayers that a further entry in this brand will succeed, and shall it add to viewers’ adoration of the animated movie? I have no doubt that Wreck-It Ralph 2, as it is tentatively called, will absolutely nail it!
