Based on everything we have covered about Disney+, the studio’s exclusive streaming service will be home to over 6,000 hours worth of content from TV and films, both past and present. Of course, that library can only grow when streaming rights expire on other services. Not only that, but future content will be available on Disney+ as well. But just in case you haven’t signed up yet, and are looking for a reason to do so, Disney+ has offered all available titles in one three-hour-plus video. | Apple Lands Musical Take On Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ Starring Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell
A new adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol is on the way. This one will be a musical, with Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell set to star. Now this latest take on A Christmas Carol has a home. After a bidding war which included Netflix, Warner Bros., and Paramount all making offers to acquire the movie, it was Apple who ultimately won the project and is now in final negotiations to complete the acquisition. And it sounds like they dropped some big money on the table to pass all other bidders.
