| Video: Massive Dragon Skull Washes Ashore On UK’s Jurassic Coast
OK, so we can’t say a real dragon’s head is now resting on the beach of the Jurassic Coast in England, unfortunately, though it is still a fantastic thing to see. British video on demand service BlinkBox created the giant skull and put it on the beach to promote the arrival of season three of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones. The skull is inspired by the skulls seen/read about in season one and book one, when Arya is in the dungeons of the Red Keep and happens upon the many dragon skulls that formerly decorated the Great Hall of the Iron Throne when the Targaryens ruled. You can check out a video of the making of the giant skull and you can see more images at the source link below.

It’s preview night here at San Diego Comic-Con and there are already tons of events happening all over town. One event we just got to experience is a special exhibit showing off the Legendary Pictures reboot of the Godzilla franchise, to be directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters). Fans at the convention can go to the Legendary booth for a chance to get tickets to go inside this special event, titled Godzilla Encounter. We have 72 photos here below from the Godzilla Encounter for you to check out! Once inside the building, fans are able to walk around a typical Japanese street dedicated to all things Godzilla, complete with overturned cop cars, displays of all kinds of memorabilia including a giant typhoon made out of over 200 comics, and a working Ramen and Sushi Bar with items on the menu such as as the King Ghidorah Dragon Roll, Zilla Energy Tea, and Mecharamen.

IGN revealed the exclusive Comic-Con 2013 poster for director Gareth Edwards‘ upcoming Godzilla remake. Check out the poster art here below. According to IGN, this is artwork for a Mondo poster that will be released this week. The Doom Crew is here at San Diego Comic-Con and we just got a chance to preview the very cool Godzilla Encounter created by Legendary Pictures. We’ll have a full report of the Encounter with tons of photos up here very soon! You can check out Edwards’s pre-Con message about the event, shot on the movie set towards film shooting, here below. We also got the Godzilla Encounter posters at the event (though I’m guessing if this is a Mondo thing, that these are simple promo posters we were given). If you’re going to be at SDCC this week, visit the Legendary Pictures booth for your chance to score tickets to the Godzilla Encounter. See our “sneak peek” of the Encounter here below (much more to come!!!). Like I mentioned, we’re here on the ground at the Con, so along with the Encounter, we’ll also be checking out the Legendary booth when the Con floor opens tonight for Preview Night, as well as the Godzilla panel on Saturday. So be sure to follow Geeks of Doom’s Comic-Con coverage here at the site and through our Facebook and Twitter.

Being involved in the world of tech as a career, I can attest to the claims that certain anti-virus products are a pain to uninstall and remove from computers. McAfee is one of these companies, and the original founder, John McAfee, wants to show you how to get rid of it. John McAfee ceased being involved 15 years ago with the company he founded, and quite out of the blue this week, he posted this highly amusing and rambunctious video to YouTube that is a must see for any tech geek. Oh, and it should be said, there’s strong language – plus some other stuff – that might make you consider the video NSFW.
