At one point in time, a superhero will get a costume change. We are seeing a lot of this happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, usually with Iron Man and Captain America. But towards the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, we saw that Peter Parker would be given a new suit if he took the offer to become an Avenger. Of course, he declined, but that doesn’t mean it was the last time we would see the suit.

That’s because it appeared once again during the Avengers: Infinity War trailer that was shown this summer at both D23 Expo and the San Diego Comic-Con. But Spidey fans barely got any time to familiarize themselves with it as it was shown for only a brief moment. Now, they will be able to see the full suit. To say that Avengers: Infinity War is the most anticipated superhero film ever would be an understatement. It’s a culmination of everything that Marvel Studios has been working at for the past 10 years. It’s something that nobody thought could ever happen. Yet, here we are. Everyone’s hopes of seeing The Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Spider-Man joining forces to defeat Thanos finally happening.

We got a first look at the trailer at the D23 Expo a few weeks back, and the footage was shown once more at last weekend’s SDCC. But it’s not likely that the same trailer will ever see the light of day – unless you saw the leaks. So co-director Joe Russo has offered up a vague timetable on when we could see a trailer, plus an idea of how long it could be. Come next year, Marvel Studios will be celebrating their tenth anniversary. Quite an achievement for a superhero movie studio owned by Disney. And what better way for them to commemorate such an occasion then to release the ensemble of ensembles, an Avengers film featuring heroes from not only across the globe but from galaxies far away as well. The Russo Brothers are in the midst of simultaneously shooting both Avengers: Infinity War and the tentatively titled Avengers 4. Not counting the marketing budget, the films’ combined production budget is, without a question, very high, considering that it touts one of the biggest ensemble casts anyone has ever seen.

Now a new report seems to confirm that notion, as the production budget reportedly goes as high as $1 billion. Yes, that’s with a B. No. There is no nefarious Doctor Evil laugh. More on the story below.

Marvel Studios has released the very first look at Avengers: Infinity War in a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette that details what fans should expect to see and how the threat of Thanos will have an impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole. That’s because the video confirms the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy will finally be teaming up. Oh, and something about a Spider-Man being a part of this team is there, too.
